Job summary

Board of Certified Safety Professionals is hiring a Construction Site Safety Manager to lead on-site safety efforts for major projects. You will design and maintain site-specific safety programs, coach teams, and oversee subcontractor safety performance to prevent incidents.

The role requires 2+ years in construction safety and strong OSHA knowledge, with responsibilities including audits, JHAs, training, and regulatory coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in safety-related field.
• 2+ years of construction safety experience on commercial/industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and incident prevention.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor safety performance and PPE compliance.
• Deliver safety orientation and ongoing training; conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.
• Support regulatory inspections, prepare compliance reports, and advise project teams.
