FirstEnergy is seeking a Construction Site Coordinator to oversee pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects. The role covers multiple service territories, with emphasis on safety and quality compliance.

The successful candidate will review bids, coordinate material delivery, and mentor junior staff while ensuring adherence to project schedules and OH&S standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field; 8+ years in commercial/industrial construction.
• In lieu of degree, 12+ years in commercial/industrial construction.

Responsabilidades

• Provide constructability reviews for projects through initial and detailed engineering plans.
• Identify potential construction and safety issues and offer design alternatives.
• Lead construction-related scope change discussions with vendors' site representatives.
• Input timing of construction activities and milestones during development.
• Mentor junior CSC staff in time and cost management activities.
• Review schedules to identify unreasonable durations and missing links.
• Advise on costs for access, matting, and other methods during development.
• Document project quality outcomes and lessons learned.
• Ensure clear communication of staff and vendor responsibilities on site.
• Participate in contractor coordination meetings and milestone reviews.
