Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced Scheduling Leader to manage the Scheduling group across projects, develop CPM baselines, and monitor progress. You will collaborate with Preconstruction, Procurement, and Construction teams to ensure timely delivery, while integrating BIM/4D and Last Planner System into schedules.

The role requires advanced scheduling expertise, risk analysis, and a track record of guiding teams to improve project performance on large construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field with minimum 8 years experience.
• Large construction project experience (>$100m).
• Scheduling certification desired (AACE, PSP, PMI-SP).
• Experience in construction project engineering and supervisory positions.
• Proficient in interpreting contract documents, drawings, specs and scopes of work to build schedules.
• Proficient use of scheduling software (Oracle Primavera P6).
• Familiar with scheduling diagnostic tools (Acumen Fuse, Change Inspector).
• Experience in risk/gap analysis and continuous improvement in scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling activities and supervise the Scheduling group across one or more projects.
• Develop and maintain CPM-based baseline schedules and track progress.
• Communicate execution plans and monitor against baselines and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, Procurement, Construction, and other departments to build schedules.
• Integrate BIM/4D and Last Planner System into project schedules.
• Produce monthly progress updates and look-ahead schedules with narrative.
• Conduct schedule reviews with leadership and present scheduling dashboards.
• Provide scheduling training and guidance on Playbook policies to staff.
