Job summary

McGough in West Texas seeks a Senior Construction Scheduler to develop and maintain schedules for commercial projects using critical path methods and Last Planner System. You will attend weekly progress meetings, review subcontractor weekly work plans and update project tracking tools.

This role requires strong Primavera P6 knowledge, 10+ years of scheduling experience, and the ability to lead pull planning meetings to create milestone work plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field or 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted.
• 10+ years of construction & scheduling experience
• Working knowledge of 4D visual planning methodologies
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and project delivery methods.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of cost and resource loaded schedules and claims avoidance and resolution techniques
• Competence in Primavera P6
• With a Bachelor's Degree must have 24 months of experience or without a Bachelor's Degree mush have 6 years of experience with each of the following:

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement accepted Planning & Scheduling best practices.
• Lead planning efforts with Project Manager and Schedule Department, develop WBS, durations, and sequencing.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and construction documents for baseline schedules.
• Monitor schedules and support Operations with updates and guidance.
• Interact with Owners, subcontractors and representatives to represent McGough.
• Support conceptual bid schedules with Operations and present to selection committees if required.
• Use analytics to identify project trends and assist with risk mitigation.
• Cost and manpower load schedules for project execution.
• Prepare schedule reporting including EVA analysis and cost/schedule integration.
• Evaluate actual status relative to plan and communicate impacts of changes.
