Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Program Schedule Lead in Houston, TX to develop and manage the master schedule for large construction programs. You will use Primavera P6 to drive planning, coordinate with teams, and mitigate risks to keep projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a proven background in planning and scheduling for major construction programs, including data center projects, and can lead controls efforts while communicating status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or a related field.
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling in construction.
• Ability to lead project controls efforts within an operational area to meet objectives.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods and data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain owner’s integrated master schedule.
• Use Primavera P6 to develop and manage project schedule with related tools.
• Identify and manage project risks affecting timelines or quality.
• Monitor and report progress, propose mitigation for delays.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate to resolve construction-related issues.
• Provide regular status reports to management and stakeholders on progress and issues.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Support documentation management for construction activities.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply where applicable.
