Job summary

HazTek Safety Management seeks a Construction Safety Lead for a ground-up pharmaceutical construction project in Spring House, PA. The role will oversee a team of safety professionals and collaborate closely with project management and contractors to maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include leading daily site safety activities, coordinating with leadership and contractors, reviewing permits/JSAs, developing safety policies, conducting inspections, and guiding fall protection

Qualifications

• Demonstrated construction safety experience on ground-up projects.
• Experience leading safety personnel and coordinating contractors.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and field application.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site safety activities and oversee at least two other safety professionals.
• Coordinate safety requirements with project leadership and contractors across construction activities.
• Prepare and review work permits and JSAs.
• Develop, review, and implement site safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Provide guidance on fall protection, scaffolding safety, hot work, and lockout/tagout.
• Lead safety meetings and support incident investigations and corrective action planning.
