Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) seeks an experienced Construction Safety Specialist to support a pharmaceutical construction project in Spring House, PA. This long‑term role requires strong field leadership, hazard recognition, and adherence to OSHA standards.

You will provide daily safety oversight, conduct inspections, lead PTAs, and coach site personnel to improve safety performance, with opportunities for professional development and long‑term career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
• Pharmaceutical construction safety experience required.
• Current OSHA 510 required.
• Current OSHA 30‑Hour Construction training within past five years.
• Current First Aid, CPR, AED certifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, and hazard recognition skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for contractors and subcontractors.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and observations.
• Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Support Pre‑Task Plans (PTPs), JSAs/JHAs, permits, and incident investigations.
• Conduct orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and client safety requirements.
• Monitor high‑risk activities including electrical safety, fall protection, confined space, cranes/rigging, LOTO, and hot work.
• Maintain required safety reports and documentation.
• Coach field personnel and partner with project leadership to improve safety performance.
