HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Construction Safety Professional to support pharmaceutical construction projects in Rahway, NJ. The role provides daily safety oversight, conducts audits, reviews work permits, and collaborates with project teams to maintain safe working conditions.

Responsibilities include safety audits, permits review, fall protection oversight, and participation in JHAs and toolbox talks.

Formación

• Construction safety experience, preferably within pharmaceutical facilities.
• OSHA 510 required.
• OSHA 30 and First Aid certification required.
• Experience conducting safety audits and reviewing work permits.
• Knowledge of fall protection, scaffolding safety, hot work, and lockout/tagout.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with contractors.
• HAZWOPER training preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct site safety audits and inspections, identify hazards, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review work permits and monitor compliance with site safety procedures.
• Provide safety oversight for fall protection, scaffolding, hot work, and lockout/tagout activities.
• Participate in Job Hazard Analyses or equivalent assessments to identify risks and appropriate controls.
• Participate in weekly toolbox talks conducted by the project general contractor.
• Communicate safety expectations and concerns to contractors and project leadership.
