Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Construction Safety Professional in Pittsburgh, PA to serve as an owner's representative on client sites. You will review and shape safety programs, promote a culture of safety, and collaborate with the general contractor to ensure compliance across projects.

The role requires field leadership, daily EHS inspections, and active participation in project meetings. You will train contractor staff, respond to incidents, and report findings to the EHS team to drive

Qualifications

• BS/BA in safety or related field plus 6 years construction safety experience.
• Safety Certification and familiarity with 29 CFR 1926.
• Valid Driver’s License; pass MVR.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and advise on client’s EHS culture and implement procedures.
• Conduct daily construction site EHS inspections for risks and compliance.
• Review contractor hazard analyses and determine additional controls.
• Attend project meetings representing owners’ safety & security.
• Provide Health & Safety training to contractor staff.
• Report findings to contractor’s EHS Manager.
