Job summary

AECOM has a full-time Senior Construction Safety Professional position in Salisbury, VA. The role is field-heavy, spending at least 60% of hours on-site, acting as owner's representative at large data center campuses, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance on-site.

You will develop and supervise safety programs, review CEHSPs, and coordinate with contractors and client teams to drive a culture of safety and regulatory adherence across projects.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in safety, engineering or related field required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/CSA/industry standards and risk controls.
• Travel to multiple local project locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee EHS programs on construction sites to reduce risk.
• Review CEHSPs and ensure conformance with owner requirements and regs.
• Coach site teams on safety culture and regulatory compliance.
• Develop safety procedures and measurements to track leading indicators.
• Collaborate with contractors, client teams and stakeholders on corrective actions.
• Prepare safety reports for clients and regulatory agencies.
