Job summary

AECOM has a position available for Senior Construction Safety Professional in Herndon, VA. In this role, the person will be working at a client's construction sites full-time and act as an owner's representative at a large data center campus construction sites.

The responsibilities include developing and implementing safety programs, supervising EHS staff, coordinating with contractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reporting on KPIs.

Qualifications

• BS/BA plus six years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Experience in construction safety or related field.
• Experience in environmental compliance and industry standards.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass MVR check.
• US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and advise on client's EHS culture and implement EHS procedures at the site.
• Develop and maintain safety and health programs, systems, and procedures to reduce risk.
• Supervise personnel engaged in EHS functions on the project.
• Interface with contractors to implement corrective actions for deficiencies.
