Job summary

McKenney’s, Inc. is seeking a Senior Risk Management professional to lead the enterprise risk strategy across construction and service operations. You will design and manage insurance programs, oversee claims, and partner with brokers, carriers, and legal teams to protect people and projects.

You will develop risk frameworks, review contract protections, and align risk actions with field operations while supporting M&A due diligence and ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing insurance programs and claims for large projects/jobsite exposure.
• Ability to translate insurance concepts for field and executive audiences.
• Knowledge of multiple construction insurance lines and bonding processes.
• Demonstrated collaboration with Safety, Legal, Finance, and Operations leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, negotiation, and administration of the company’s insurance programs.
• Oversee claims management across all lines and reduce loss frequency.
• Develop enterprise risk assessment frameworks for construction operations.
• Review contract risk-transfer language in customer and subcontractor agreements.
• Align risk mitigation with field operations and EMR/incident trends.
• Support M&A due diligence and integration from a risk/insurance perspective.
