Job summary

CES Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Construction Representative to monitor and coordinate construction activities on a DC Metro project in Alexandria, VA. The role requires field-based oversight of CMAR, QA/QC, and compliance with contract documents and DC Water procedures.

The candidate should have strong experience in water/wastewater projects, trenchless techniques, and contractor change-order evaluation, with CCM or PMP preferred. Full-time on-site work with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ construction management experience in municipal/private sectors.
• Minimum 5 years’ CM experience in water/wastewater.
• Experience directing field teams or inspectors.
• Experience evaluating contractor change orders and RFIs.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or PMP preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Knowledge of trenchless tech and sewer rehab methods.
• Familiar with Primavera P6 and Unifier.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily CMAR activities and provide field coordination for CMAR and OA Inspectors.
• Direct OA Inspectors for proper oversight staffing and daily reports.
• Review CMAR logs, schedules, and correspondence; report field issues.
• Review CMAR monthly payment applications and RFIs.
• Coordinate submittals with design engineers and reviewers.
• Facilitate communication among CMAR, OA, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety plans, QA/QC, and contract documents.
• Elevate unresolved field issues to the Delivery Manager.
