Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Construction Project Representative for water projects in the DC Metro area. You will oversee field work, coordinate with the project team, and ensure submittals, payroll, and documentation meet contract requirements.

The role emphasizes owner’s advisor-style oversight, problem solving on site, and coordinating testing, commissioning, and warranty activities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Superintendent with degree, or 5+ years without.
• Experience reading plans, schedules and specs.
• Knowledge of construction means, methods and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractor work to meet contract documents.
• Collaborate with project team to resolve constructability issues.
• Track submittals and payroll submissions for compliance.
• Maintain project documentation in PMIS and as-builts accuracy.
• Review O&M submittals and assist with training needs.
• Monitor progress of testing, commissioning and closeout.
• Perform warranty inspections and support O&M during warranty.
