Job summary

CES Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Construction Representative to join the OA team in Baltimore, MD. You will monitor CMAR activities on site and ensure adherence to contract documents and client procedures.

The role requires extensive field oversight, coordination with inspectors, and review of logs, submittals, and RFIs. A CCM or PMP, and 10+ years in construction management are preferred. Join our team to help deliver safe, compliant projects and support stakeholders through pre-construction

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience in municipal and/or private sectors.
• 5+ years of construction management in water and wastewater industries.
• Experience directing field teams or inspectors.
• CCM or PMP certification.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Knowledge of trenchless technologies and sewer rehabilitation methods.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 scheduling and review of contractor schedules.
• OSHA 10-hour certification.
• DBIA or Associate DBIA certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily construction activities of the CMAR on site.
• Provide field coordination for the CMAR and OA Inspectors.
• Review CMAR logs, registers, correspondence, and schedules.
• Report on field issues and progress.
• Provide day-to-day direction to OA Inspectors for proper oversight staffing.
• Ensure OA Inspectors submit daily inspection reports per Client procedures.
• Review CMAR correspondence, schedules, logs and RFIs.
• Review CMAR submittals for conformance with contract requirements.
• Coordinate with design engineer on technical submittals.
• Facilitate communication among CMAR, OA Inspectors and stakeholders.
