Job summary

SteerBridge, Inc. in Vienna, VA is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter focused on the construction industry to manage full-cycle recruitment for technical, professional, and leadership roles facing federal contracts and private sector projects.

The ideal candidate will source active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS, partner with hiring managers to define requirements, and build enduring talent pipelines to meet project milestones and mobilization needs.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required for this position under applicable federal contract requirements.
• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in construction, engineering, or related technical roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction roles, terminology, project delivery methods, and industry talent markets.
• Proven success sourcing and filling technical roles using ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Excellent communication, interviewing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical, professional, and leadership construction roles, from sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Recruit construction professionals, including Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Project Engineers, Safety Managers, and Facilities Managers.
• Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, industry associations, and professional networks.
• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop recruiting strategies.
• Align hiring plans with the project pipeline, contract awards, and project start dates to fill roles before mobilization.
• Conduct candidate screenings, coordinate interviews, and negotiate offers informed by construction market compensation data.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard‑to‑fill roles.
• Track recruiting metrics and ensure a positive candidate experience.
