Job summary

A Construction Quality Manager III at Construction Material Testing oversees quality for a major program, directing Quality Managers and inspectors. You own the site quality management system, audits, and the program's relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You will develop every QC person on the program, lead audits with owners and third parties, and drive corrective actions, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, NQA-1, and DOT frameworks while keeping the project on schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Senior certifications: USACE CQM-C plus ICC Special Inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and enforce the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system including plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers across projects and set coverage and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own corrective-action program and approve QC plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
