Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to lead the program's quality management system across multiple projects. You will direct Quality Managers and inspectors, own the audit program, and develop QC staff while coordinating with the owner's quality organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third‑party audits; own corrective actions.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory/subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly.
