Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a seasoned Construction Quality Manager II to run the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE/NAVFAC standards. You will lead field inspectors, write the QC plan, and answer for all test results and nonconformances.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• USACE CQM-C certificate and ICC/NICET certifications.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
• Strong written communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
