Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large-scale projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal programs under USACE or NAVFAC quality requirements. You will supervise field inspectors and technicians reporting to you and own the project quality control plan.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Writes clearly and holds the line in meetings with owners and superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain project quality control plan and obtain acceptance by owners or agencies.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run nonconformance and corrective-action processes and present them in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
