Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Sr. Construction Representative in Hendersonville, TN to supervise quality assurance on a federally funded turbine rehabilitation project.

Responsibilities include on-site inspections, reviewing QC documentation, and ensuring compliance with contract plans, EM 385-1-1, and OSHA regulations. The role involves daily RMS reporting and coordination with contractor representatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of quality control or quality assurance experience on construction projects.
• USACE or other federal project experience, preferred.
• Knowledge with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA Construction Industry Regulations (29 CFR 1926).
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect on-going construction through on-site visits and review of contractor reports and test results.
• Independently inspect a variety of complex civil construction activities requiring specialized knowledge.
• Ensure contractor work complies with the approved schedule, plans, specs, safety regulations, and contract documents.
• Inspect materials, installation, and testing for contract compliance; coordinate with contractor to correct deficiencies.
• Review daily QC reports to ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Provide daily QA inspection and surveillance of the contractor’s QC Program.
• Attend quality assurance preparatory and initial inspections and report deficiencies via RMS.
• Verify site location, layout, and elevations prior to start of work.
• Support risk management for critical construction lifts and review submittals.
• Maintain deficiencies tracking, RFIs, and field problem logs.
