Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Construction Representative to support the Old Hickory Turbine Generator Rehabilitation Project.

You will perform QA, inspection, and contract compliance for complex civil construction, monitor contractor performance, review QC documentation, and participate in safety reviews and meetings. The role requires extensive field inspections, adherence to EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations, and coordination with USACE personnel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of quality control or quality assurance experience on construction projects.
• USACE or other federal project experience preferred.
• Experience in welding, machining, and/or industrial construction.
• Interpreting construction plans, specs, and reviewing as-built drawings.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ongoing construction through on-site visits and review contractor reports and test results.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities with technical expertise.
• Ensure contractor work complies with schedule, plans, specs, and safety regulations.
• Review QC reports for accuracy and deficiencies; document findings daily.
• Maintain QC tracking and RMS input; attend QA discussions and meetings.
• Prepare daily reports to confirm contractor progress and compliance.
