Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to oversee the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or USACE/NAVFAC work. You will supervise field inspectors and technicians, write the project QC plan, and lead three-phase control meetings with the owner's QA representative.

You will own test result reviews and NCR resolutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection, including supervisory experience.
• USACE CQM-C certificate and ICC special inspector or NICET Level III certification.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.
• Excellent written communications and ability to present data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and obtain acceptance by client/agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for each definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Run NCR and corrective-action processes and present results in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
