Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE) seeks a Project Manager for Construction Quality Assurance to lead QA/QC programs on complex projects.

You will oversee inspection, testing, and compliance, ensuring materials and workmanship meet contract documents, specs, codes, and best practices. You will manage inspectors and technicians, coordinate with contractors, design pros, owners, and stakeholders, and prepare status updates and QA reports for project owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Proven proficiency and experience in earthwork quality control, construction, inspection, or testing.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management.
• Expertise in IBC, ASTM, ACI, DOT, and municipal standards.
• Broad knowledge of earthwork, concrete, asphalt, masonry, structural steel, and foundations.
• Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to travel for site visits and manage multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Master and apply industry standards, codes, and inspection protocols to ensure quality compliance.
• Analyze testing results, reports, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain high attention to detail and precision in inspections, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address quality issues proactively.
• Plan, organize, and oversee quality assurance operations across multiple projects.
• Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and manufacturer quality control documentation.
• Ensure schedules, budgets, and quality requirements align and are met.
• Integrate quality assurance into project planning phases to minimize risk.
• Communicate project progression and QA adherence to clients and teams.
• Direct and oversee field inspection and materials testing teams for various building systems.
• Review data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Issue and track non-conformance reports with corrective actions.
