Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE) is seeking a Project Manager for Construction Quality Assurance to lead inspection, testing, and compliance on active construction projects.

You will ensure materials, workmanship, and processes meet contract documents, codes, and industry standards. You will supervise inspectors, coordinate with owners, designers, and contractors, review QA documentation, and prepare status reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Construction Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proven proficiency in earthwork quality control, construction, inspection, or testing.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management.
• Expertise in IBC, ASTM, ACI, DOT, and applicable municipal standards.
• Broad knowledge of earthwork, concrete, asphalt, masonry, structural steel, and foundations.
• Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to travel for site visits, manage multiple sites, and make critical decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Master and apply industry standards, codes, and inspection protocols to ensure quality compliance.
• Analyze testing results, reports, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain high attention to detail and precision in inspections, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address complex quality issues proactively.
• Plan, organize, and oversee quality assurance operations across multiple projects to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and manufacturer quality control documentation and test results.
• Ensure schedules, budgets, and quality requirements are aligned and met.
• Integrate quality assurance into project planning to minimize risk and enhance outcomes.
• Communicate progression and QA adherence to client and project teams.
