Job summary

AECOM has a need for an on-site Sr. Quality Assurance Construction Inspector to support US Army Corps of Engineers projects in Hanscom AFB, Lincoln, Massachusetts. The role requires strict adherence to the USACE 3-Phase inspection program and detailed field documentation.

The position involves daily site observations, attendance at progress meetings, witness testing, and coordination with government stakeholders and contractors to ensure quality and safety on complex infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and the three phases of control (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up).
• Familiarity with contract documentation, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, change orders, and progress payment evaluations.
• Demonstrated experience conducting inspections, witnessing testing, and interpreting third-party test results.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction to ensure compliance with contract requirements and standards.
• Record field observations, daily reports, field measurements and computations.
• Document observations and inspections of construction and non-compliance notices.
