Job summary

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced on-site Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to support US Army Corps of Engineers in Albany, NY. You will monitor construction progress, inspect contractor work, ensure compliance with plans, and identify deficiencies to maintain quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

The role requires US citizenship, state/federal background checks, and a pre-employment drug screen, with travel limited to the Albany area as needed.

Qualifications

• HS plus 10 years of relevant construction QA/QC experience, including DoD projects.
• US citizenship is required for this security-sensitive project.
• Must pass state and federal background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site QA across three-phase inspection to ensure contract compliance and safety.
• Monitor progress, attend meetings, validate progress payments with COR.
• Provide full-time on-site inspection coverage and document deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Witness inspections, review third-party test results, and perform QA validation testing.
