Job summary

Accura Engineering is hiring a Construction (QA) Inspector to support projects in Louisville, KY. The role requires thorough surveillance of construction phases to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate has extensive DoD/USACE project experience, knowledge of building codes, and the ability to prepare detailed site reports. Must pass federal background check and drug screening; US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• US citizen and must pass federal background review and drug screen.
• Minimum of 10 years of applicable experience on construction contract administration and inspection projects on large federal DoD/USACE projects.
• Experience with vertical construction and hospital projects preferred.
• Proficiency with relevant construction/building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on all construction phases for compliance with plans and specs.
• Provides technical expertise to ensure project compliance with codes and design instructions.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports with comments on progress and safety.
• Observes construction phases for schedule compliance and feasibility of changes.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval actions.
• Monitors progress and advises the project team of potential delays.
