Job summary

The role requires reviewing plans, specs, and shop drawings, delivering surveillance reports, and ensuring workmanship meets standards and schedules. Applicants should have a high school diploma (associates or bachelor’s preferred) and 10+ years of relevant experience on large DoD/USACE contracts, with hospital construction experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on construction phases for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Provides technical guidance to ensure project compliance with engineering standards and codes.
• Performs daily site inspections and documents progress, safety, and subcontractor activity.
• Observes construction phases for schedule compliance and recommends changes as needed.
• Prepares engineering plans or reports and reviews contractor schedules.
• Monitors progress and alerts the team to potential delays.
• Reviews contractor submittals, including QA/QC programs and shop drawings.
• Assists in contract modification processes and RMS usage.
