Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc is seeking a Construction (QA) Inspector for on-site work in Louisville, KY. The role requires delivering surveillance reports, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and codes, and providing technical guidance to the client across all construction phases.

The candidate should have 10+ years of experience on federal projects (DoD/USACE preferred), knowledge of relevant codes, and experience with RMS 3.0.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degree preferred in construction-related field.
• 10+ years of applicable experience on large federal construction projects (DoD/USACE preferred).
• Experience with vertical construction and hospital projects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on construction for compliance with plans and specs.
• Provides technical guidance to ensure compliance with engineering standards and codes.
• Performs inspections and daily site reports including progress and safety remarks.
• Observes construction phases and assesses need for changes or contract modifications.
• Prepares complete engineering plans or reports.
• Aids in contract modification processes.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval actions.
• Monitors progress and alerts project team to potential delays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
