Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction (QA) Inspector for work in Louisville, KY onsite. The role focuses on surveillance reporting, ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards across all construction phases.

Responsibilities include inspections, daily site reports, monitoring progress, and evaluating contractor schedules; familiarity with RMS is preferred. Requires US citizenship and federal background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED minimum; Assoc. or Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience on construction contract administration and inspection on large mult i‑million dollar federal projects (DoD/USACE).
• Experience with vertical construction; hospital projects preferred and knowledge of relevant codes.
• Specialized skills: NFPA 101, NFPA 70, IPC, NFPA 13/72, ASHRAE/NEBB, commissioning, IT/IDS, patient transport systems, welding inspection, coatings, HAZWOPER.
• Experience using RMS 3.0; three‑phase inspection; OSHA/EM 385-1-1 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers surveillance reports on all construction phases to government personnel.
• Provides technical expertise to ensure project compliance with standards and design instructions.
• Performs inspections and completes daily site reports including safety issues and subcontractor manpower.
• Observes construction phases, identifies problems, and advises on contract modifications.
• Prepares complete engineering plans or reports.
• Reviews contractor schedules.
• Assists in all phases of the contract modification process.
• Reviews contractor plans and submittals for approval actions including shop drawings.
• Monitors progress and advises project team on potential delays.
• Utilize Resident Management System (RMS).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
