Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction (QA) Inspector for on-site work in Louisville, KY. The role requires strong inspection skills, DoD/USACE project familiarity, and the ability to manage surveillance reports and daily site records.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years in construction contract administration, knowledge of relevant codes (NFPA, NEC, IPC), and experience with RMS 3.0. U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction contract administration and inspection on large projects.
• Experience with vertical construction; hospital projects preferred.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code, NEC, IPC, NFPA, ASHRAE/NEBB, and building commissioning.
• Experience with RMS 3.0 is preferred.
• US citizenship and ability to pass background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver surveillance reports on all construction phases for compliance with plans and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure project compliance with engineering standards, codes, and design instructions.
• Perform inspections and daily site reports including comments on progress, safety, and subcontractor manpower.
• Observe and investigate phases for delays, identify problems, and recommend changes or contract modifications.
• Prepare complete engineering plans or reports and review contractor schedules.
