Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction (QA) Inspector for a Louisville, KY project, with a focus on ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.

The role requires extensive field inspections, reporting, and coordination with government personnel. Qualifications include a high school diploma or higher, a degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred, and 10 years of related experience on complex federal projects.

Qualifications

• Must have a construction-related degree preferred and a strong background in inspection.
• Minimum of 10 years of applicable experience on large federal or DoD/USACE projects is desirable.
• Experience with vertical hospital construction and relevant building codes is needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver surveillance reports on construction for compliance with plans and specs.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with engineering standards and design instructions.
• Perform inspections and daily site reports including safety observations and subcontractor manpower.
• Observe schedules, identify problems, propose changes, and assess contract modifications.
• Prepare engineering plans or reports and review contractor schedules.
• Assist in contract modification processes and review submittals for approvals.
• Monitor progress and advise project team of potential delays; utilize RMS.
