French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Project Manager for our Construction Engineering department in Newark, NJ. The role focuses on overseeing transportation construction projects, coordinating with clients and contractors, and delivering thorough reports.

The candidate should hold a PE license and a Civil Engineering or related degree, with 8+ years in construction and 2+ years in project management. Strong organization, solid communication, and office/field availability are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, and/or Construction/Engineering related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License is required.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of construction related experience and two (2) years of Project Management experience.
• Experience performing construction inspection on Civil Engineering projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process all projects related Pay Estimates, Submittals, Shop Drawings, RFI’s, and Change Orders.
• Manage multiple transportation related construction projects at once.
• Review, track, and markup Construction Schedules.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Chair meetings.
• Interface with clients and contractors.
