Job summary

French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is seeking a Project Manager for our Construction Engineering department in Newark, NJ. The role entails overseeing pay estimates, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedules while coordinating client interfaces and field work.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelors in Civil Engineering or related field, a PE license, and at least eight years of construction experience with two years in project management. AutoCAD and MS Office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum eight (8) years construction related experience and two (2) years of Project Management experience.
• Experience performing construction inspection on Civil Engineering projects.
• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process all projects related Pay Estimates, Submittals, Shop Drawings, RFIs, and Change Orders.
• Manage multiple transportation related construction projects at once.
• Review, track, and markup Construction Schedules.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Chair meetings.
• Interface with clients and contractors.
