Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in the United States is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead client-site and campus projects, coordinating with facility management and account teams to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.

The role requires at least 5 years in engineering/construction project accountability and 3 years supervising third-party contractors, with hands-on tenant improvements. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years directly related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role.
• Minimum of 5 years project management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience leading third party stakeholders (architects, engineers, GC/subcontractors, IT/AV/Security).
• Hands-on experience with building infrastructure and tenant improvement construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• In compliance with client and C&W process, prepare agendas, budgets and timelines for each project phase.
• Prepare and coordinate project reports and drawing reviews at all design/construction phases.
• Assist in selection, contracting and oversight of consultants and construction teams.
• Review requisitions, change orders and invoices with client and property management.
• Adhere to corporate, building and client policies; cooperate with facility personnel to meet goals.
• Report major problems and recommendations to management; obtain approvals for expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with laws, codes and safety regulations; maintain high performance standards.
• Strive to improve skill and knowledge in the field.
