Job summary

Marand Builders, Inc seeks a General Contracting Project Manager to oversee ground-up commercial projects from inception through completion. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with MS Office and project reporting tools. Must be able to travel up to 30% to job sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years of experience in the commercial construction industry, overseeing all aspects of ground-up projects.
• Ability to manage more than 2 projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project reporting software and Microsoft Office; ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budget, write contracts, approve invoices, and update schedules.
• Coordinate among subcontractors and resolve conflicts.
• Organize and distribute project documents.
• Create and maintain project schedules; expedite deliveries.
• Maintain cost control data and prepare cost reports.
• Manage relationships with customers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors and employees.
• Develop short-interval schedules for weekly coordination meetings.
• Ensure LEED requirements are tracked and met.
