Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects in New York. You will align programs with strategic objectives, identify resources, estimate budgets, and set scopes and schedules.

You will lead teams, train staff, and promote PM best practices while maintaining client contact and ensuring quality and cost controls. An emphasis is placed on coordinating with stakeholders, producing charters and reports, and driving continuous improvement across projects

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
5–7 years of experience in project management for large-scale construction or renovations.
Proficiency with standard office software and PM tools.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to document scope, deliverables, goals and resources.
Ensure projects stay in scope, within budget and on schedule.
Create and manage charters, schedules and budgets.
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Lead project teams and facilitate meetings to drive progress.
Support business development with proposals and estimates.
Monitor budgets and staffing requirements.
Ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
Plan, monitor and report on subcontractor activities.
Develop project control procedures and manage changes.
