Socket.dev is seeking a Project Manager I to lead project planning, coordinate engineering activities, and support field commissioning to ensure successful delivery and on-time performance.

The role requires coordinating with clients and internal teams, preparing job travelers, and managing documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to assess risks are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1 year of design, commissioning, or cost estimation experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs and handle professional business communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage approval process for customer approvals and communicate schedule impacts.
• Ensure all commercial, technical, quality, and logistics documentation is provided.
• Lead and facilitate project meetings with clients and track action items.
• Develop project approach with engineers and prepare sketches, diagrams, and job travelers.
• Advise on design options with input from engineering based on customer applications.
• Support commissioning and field service as required.
• Monitor project profitability and manage changes in scope and cost.
