Job summary

Sundt Construction in California is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to administer and execute large projects safely, profitably, and on schedule. The role includes progression from Step I to Step II, handling projects up to $199 million and a track record of 10–15 years for Step I.

You will lead relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subs, and suppliers, oversee cost control, scheduling, and procurement, and participate in business development, bidding, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pre-Con managing construction projects.
• Knowledge of contract documents and scheduling systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience on California K-12 projects.

Responsibilities

• Transition projects from estimating to field, including contract reviews.
• Close out requirements and warranty callbacks.
• Coordinate CPM schedule with project team and procurement.
• Maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers and subs.
• Oversee billing, payment applications and collections.
• Develop CPM schedules with Project Superintendent(s).
• Assist in estimating, bidding and contract negotiations.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Review change orders and cost control budgets.
• Ensure insurance and subcontractor compliance.
