Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead assigned projects safely, profitably, and on schedule. The role involves coordinating with estimators, preconstruction, and field teams, and advancing the project through two skill-based steps with increasing complexity.

The position emphasizes sequencing, budgeting, risk management, and client relations, ensuring quality and on‑time delivery for projects up to $50 million in scope.

Qualifications

• Four year construction related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years experience in a Project Manager role working on heavy industrial, mining, or power jobs.
• Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Thorough knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment utilization, scheduling systems, productivity analysis, construction operations, and cash flow procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Champions the orderly, timely transition of projects from the estimating phase to the field.
• Completes closeout requirements and punch lists in a timely manner; manage warranty callbacks to maintain owner relationships.
• Coordinates with the Project Superintendent the means and methods for successful and profitable execution.
• Establishes the project charter and PMP including scope, procurement, environmental, schedules, financials, quality, safety and risk plans.
• Oversees budgeting, change orders, and cash flow; manages payments and subcontracting.
