Job summary

F.H. Paschen seeks a Project Manager to oversee building and infrastructure projects and lead the project team. Projects may involve private or public owners and a range of delivery methods, with the role being a managerial position responsible for project success.

The candidate will manage contracts and teams, collaborate with other PMs, and ensure cost reporting and change management while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering or 10 years of construction experience.
• Minimum of 6 years managing construction projects.
• Ability to travel locally or nationally.
• Proficiency in Project Management and Scheduling Software.
• Great communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction contracts and/or work orders.
• Supervise project team assigned to contracts and/or work orders.
• Collaborate with other Project Manager(s) in the office.
• Monitor Superintendent(s) performance on contracts and/or work orders.
• Create and collaborate on work proposals.
• Negotiate financial disputes and change orders with owners.
• Administrative point of contact for the owner.
• Understand details of project scope of work.
• Create and maintain project cost reports.
• Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners.
• Develop field quality assurance and quality control plan with Superintendent.
• Collaboration of project safety plan with Superintendent(s).
• Responsible for managing MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements.
• Responsible for EEO/Affirmative action contract requirements.
• The ability to travel locally or nationally
• Must report to various work locations as assigned
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting and cash flow management
• Proficiency in Project Management and Scheduling Software
• Great communication and organizational skills
