Job summary
AlphaX RE Capital is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial and residential builds from pre-construction through closeout. You will manage budgets, procurement, safety, and schedules to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery in the California market.
The role requires 5–8+ years of PM experience, a relevant degree, and proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD/Bluebeam Revu.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in CM, Civil Eng, Building Science, or equivalent.
- 5–8+ years of hands-on PM experience in general contracting or real estate development.
- OSHA 30-Hour, CCM or PMP preferred.
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD/Bluebeam Revu).
- Strong contract negotiation, codes knowledge, blueprint reading, leadership under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Construction & Permitting: review drawings; manage site entitlement and permitting.
- Subcontractor & Procurement: scope bid packages; negotiate; procure materials.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: develop budgets; manage cash flow; review AIA payments.
- Scheduling & Site Coordination: create CPM/Gantt; align daily trades with milestones.
- Safety & Compliance: enforce OSHA, codes, SWPPP/CEQA, site safety.
- Quality Assurance & Closeout: site inspections; punch-lists; final inspections.
