Job summary

AlphaX RE Capital is seeking a Project Manager to drive development projects through acquisition, entitlement, design, and construction phases in California. You will manage day-to-day delivery, coordinate consultants, and engage stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget results aligned with our mission.

You will oversee finances, update pro formas, and coordinate with city staff and partners, while guiding multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in real estate development, project management, or construction management.
• Experience with entitlement and permitting processes in California (Bay Area preferred).
• Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of assigned real estate development projects, from acquisition and due diligence through construction and delivery.
• Update and monitor project pro formats and financial models; track performance against budget and schedule.
• Lead consultant teams (architects, engineers, planners) and coordinate with municipal staff, agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Prepare entitlement and permitting applications; oversee submittals, responses, and revisions.
• Identify risks across entitlement, financing, and construction; propose mitigation strategies.
• Maintain project documentation, trackers, and status reports for senior leadership.
• Support financing activities, including lender due diligence, investor reporting, and closing documentation.
• Represent AlphaX RE Capital in meetings with city staff, community members, and external partners.
