Job summary

AlphaX RE Capital is seeking a Director of Project Management based in California to lead and deliver complex residential and mixed-use developments from acquisition through completion.

You will guide due diligence, entitlement, design, permitting, budgeting, construction oversight, and project closeout while coordinating with Acquisitions, Development, Finance, Asset Management, Sales & Marketing, and external consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in real estate development, land development, or large-scale construction project management.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing project management or development teams.
• Extensive knowledge of California entitlement processes, municipal approvals, and development regulations.
• Strong understanding of project finance, budgeting, scheduling, consultant management, and development operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple residential, multifamily, mixed-use, and land development projects simultaneously through full lifecycle.
• Direct project execution from land acquisition support, due diligence, entitlement, design, permitting, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Establish project goals, budgets, schedules, milestones, and execution strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
