Job summary

AlphaX RE Capital's AL Homes Inc. seeks a Construction Manager (Community) to oversee all vertical construction within residential communities in California, ensuring safety, on-time completion, and budget adherence.

You will lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, monitor quality, and partner with Purchasing, Land Development, Architecture, and Project Management to meet milestones and deliver for homeowners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of residential construction experience managing production homes or communities.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, and quality standards.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and schedules across multiple homes.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations and site safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, and schedules.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between communities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities within assigned communities from groundbreaking to turnover.
• Manage multiple homes in various stages, ensuring schedules and budgets.
• Develop production schedules supporting milestones and closings.
• Conduct jobsite inspections for workmanship and compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trade partners to meet safety and schedule.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure material deliveries and project readiness.
