Job summary

Metric DCX in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from planning through completion. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and field teams to deliver on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, strong PM and estimating experience, and proficiency with MS Office and construction software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong construction project management and estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of commercial construction; experience with Divisions 6, 10, 12, and 32 is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, AutoCAD, or Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel and take on multiple project responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Develop project schedules, labor plans, estimates, and forecasts.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, clients, and vendors.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchasing, and document control.
• Monitor project costs, progress, quality, and safety.
• Identify and resolve constructability and project issues.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates.
• Conduct jobsite visits and support field operations.
• Work closely with accounting and operations to ensure projects remain on track.
• Travel as needed.
