Job summary

The Superior Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects on site in Ohio, reporting to the Project Executive. This role manages schedules, budgets, procurement, and coordination with the Superintendent and Foremen to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience, a CM or related degree, and familiarity with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated contracts.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Bonus: CM degree, Engineering degree, CM program certificate, or related degree.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $50M+.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and coordinate with vendors, clients, and executives.
• Mitigate risks and escalate issues to leadership.
• Maintain client relationships through proactive communication.
• Oversee project finance: billings, cost control, change orders.
• Ensure adherence to project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Chair project meetings and coordinate cross-department collaboration.
• Negotiate changes to contract scope and manage safety on site.
