Job summary

The Superior Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects across Central Ohio. This on-site role coordinates with the Superintendent and Foremen, manages budgets and schedules, and ensures safety and quality from kickoff to closeout.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in commercial construction, relevant degrees or certificates, and experience with design-build or negotiated projects around $50M+.

Responsibilities

• Lead our project team(s) and provide clear communication and guidance to team members, vendors, clients, and executives
• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns – and solutions – quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership
• Maintain and grow the trust of clients by cultivating relationships, communicating swiftly, collaborating, and solving challenges
• Oversee all project finance requirements and lead the team through accurate billings, project setup, project buy-out, project cost control, change order management, and cost-to-complete
• Ensure compliance with the full project schedule from project kickoff to project closeout
• Chair project meetings including planning, progress updates, and reviews with customers
• Work with departments across the organization to ensure that project materials are available and in place as needed
• Own the full scope of the project contract and negotiate changes as needed
• Maintain a high degree of safety on our work across the jobsite
