Job summary

The Superior Group in Central Ohio is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects. This full-time role reports to the Senior Project Manager and manages schedules, budgets, and client relations on-site across Central Ohio.

You will oversee planning, procurement, cost control, and project closeout, ensuring safety and timely delivery while coordinating with superintendents and foremen. A strong background in commercial construction is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project operations/PM experience in commercial construction or equivalent field ops management
• Bachelor’s degree or certificates preferred in CM/Engineering related field
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M to $50M preferred
• Knowledge of construction management software
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk; escalate issues with leadership
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout
• Manage all project finance: billings, setup, cost control, changes
• Build client trust through communication, collaboration, and problem solving
• Lead project meetings and provide updates with customers
• Coordinate materials availability across departments as needed
• Provide clear leadership and guidance to team members
• Understand and negotiate changes to the project contract
• Review estimates, drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Ensure timely completion of closeout procedures
• Maintain a high level of jobsite safety
